Poppy Barley “Gift for Good Contest”
(the “Contest”)
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
1. CONTEST SPONSOR
The Contest is sponsored by Poppy Barley Inc. (“Sponsor”).
2. CONTEST PERIOD
The Contest begins at 12:00 AM MST on Saturday, December 6, 2025, and ends at 11:59 PM MST on Saturday, December 6, 2025 (the “Contest Period”).
3. ELIGIBILITY
The Contest is open to legal residents of Canada excluding residents of the Province of Quebec, who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence at the time of entry. Employees, contractors, representatives, or agents of the Sponsor and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
Void where prohibited.
4. HOW TO ENTER
a) Automatic Entry With Purchase
During the Contest Period, each completed purchase transaction made on poppybarley.com or in any Poppy Barley retail store will automatically receive one (1) Contest entry.
b) No Purchase Necessary Entry
To receive an entry without making a purchase, visit https://poppybarley.com/pages/gift-for-good-entry and complete the entry form with your name, email address, phone number and preferred charity selection from the Sponsor’s approved list during the Contest Period.
Limit: One (1) entry per purchase transaction or one (1) online no-purchase entry per person. All entries, whether made by purchase or without purchase, have an equal chance of being selected. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned.
5. PRIZE
There is one (1) prize available to be won.
The Sponsor will donate up to CAD $10,000 (final amount based on eligible purchases made during the Contest Period) to a Canadian registered charitable organization selected by the confirmed winner from a list of eligible charities provided by the Sponsor.
The donation will be made in honour of the confirmed winner.
No funds or tax receipts are issued to the winner.
No cash substitution is permitted.
Sponsor reserves the right to verify that the selected charitable organization meets eligibility requirements before issuing the donation.
6. WINNER SELECTION
On or about December 10, 2025, at the Sponsor’s office in Edmonton, Alberta, one (1) eligible entry will be randomly selected from all entries received.
The selected entrant will be contacted by email or phone within five (5) business days.
To be confirmed as the winner, the selected entrant must:
Respond to the Sponsor within five (5) days;
Correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question without assistance; and
Complete and return a declaration of eligibility and liability/publicity release form.
If the selected entrant does not meet all requirements, another entrant may be selected at the Sponsor’s sole discretion.
Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
7. GENERAL CONDITIONS
Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Contest if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor impairs the integrity of the Contest.
Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, misdirected, or incomplete entries.
By entering, participants release and hold harmless the Sponsor from any liability arising from participation or prize fulfillment.
Personal information collected will be used solely for Contest administration (including contacting selected entrants and the confirmed winner) and will be handled according to the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy.
8. PUBLICITY
By accepting the prize, the confirmed winner agrees to the use of their name and city/province of residence, and may optionally provide a testimonial or photograph for publicity purposes, without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
9. GOVERNING LAW
The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws of Canada.
All disputes will be resolved in the Province of Alberta.
